Manual entry takes under 5 seconds with a keypad-first sheet and smart category guesses. Needs iOS 17 or later; Apple doesn’t let apps read Wallet directly, so Shortcuts is the official, private way to pass each tap along. Coinlings never asks for your bank login.

Questions, answered

Is Coinlings free?
Yes. Tracking, budgets, your Coinling, streaks and leagues are free forever. An optional Coinlings Plus subscription will add extras like no ads, a second character slot and advanced reports. Ads never appear on your Home screen or while you add an expense.
Does Coinlings connect to my bank?
No. Coinlings works with Wallet via Shortcuts: a one-time Shortcuts automation passes each Apple Pay tap (merchant and amount) to the app. There is no bank login and no account linking. Cash and card payments outside Apple Pay take under 5 seconds to add by hand.
How does automatic Apple Pay tracking work?
iOS lets you create a personal Shortcuts automation that runs when you tap a Wallet card. Our guided setup adds a ready-made shortcut and walks you through turning it on (about 60 seconds). Requires iOS 17 or later.
What happens if I overspend?
Your Coinling gets a little worried and offers to help, for example by finding a quick win. It never gets sick, never dies and never shames you. Gentle beats guilt.
Is hatching a loot box?
No. Every account hatches one Coinling for free. Nothing random is sold for real money, and the odds (Common 60%, Rare 28%, Epic 10%, Legendary 2%) are shown in the app.
Who can see my data?
You, and our small team of administrators when it is needed to run the service, provide support or prevent fraud. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt) and never sold. Our privacy policy explains it in full.
When can I get it?
Coinlings is coming to iPhone first. Join the waitlist to reserve your handle, vote for the next species and hear the moment it launches. Android is planned later.
